Campus Security recently underwent an upgrade to its facilities to help cultivate a safer campus. A control room was built in the campus security office containing a live feed of 104 cameras that surveil campus. From this control room, officers can also monitor campus bus routes, the weather radar and the LiveSafe app.

Lee has implemented a quarantining process to help ensure students’ comfort and safety while isolating because of COVID-19 exposure or positivity. Academic Services, Student Development, The Hub, Campus Security, Residential Life staff and the health clinic are involved in the process of helping students receive meals, transportation, quarantine location options, COVID-19 tests and daily check-ins during quarantine.

Lee’s cross country teams place in top ten in FSU Open
On Friday, Sept. 17, the Lee University men’s cross country team placed ninth out of 26 teams at the Florida State University Cross Country Open. The women’s cross country team placed sixth out of 29 teams.
Lee University Cinema Program hosts 48-hour Film Friendsy Competition
Last weekend, the Cinema Program hosted its third annual 48-Hour Film Friendsy Competition. In the span of 48-hours, six teams conceptualized, wrote, produced, filmed and edited a five-minute film for a panel of judges to score.
