A tornado tore through downtown Nashville early Tuesday morning killing at least 19 people and leaving severe damage across the historic district. Emergency services worked to clear the wreckage and recover survivors as the morning light revealed the state of the city, according to Emergency Management Spokeswoman Maggie Hannan.

Trump extends travel ban to six new countries

President Trump recently extended his travel ban to six new countries. This extension suspends the immigrant visa program for Nigeria, Myanmar, Eritrea and Kyrgyzstan. The ban also eliminates the U.S. diversity visa program from Sudan and Tanzania, which awards green cards to immigrants.
