Lee University film festival

Lee University film festival

Lee University’s annual film festival will soon be taking the stage in the Dixon Center for its 2025 screening, where student-submitted films will be shown and judged. Friday, April 11, will mark the 15th anniversary of this event, and film students across campus have been working diligently to show something worthwhile.

Entries will span from the winning film from Lee’s Film Friendsy competition, made over the span of 48 hours, to the months-long efforts of seniors’ final bows. The awards will include a Faculty Choice Award, bestowed by the Communication Arts faculty, as well as an Audience Choice Award, which will be voted on by the attendents of the festival. Each film will be under twelve minutes and will be crafted to include as much story as possible into the time frame.
