Since enjoying the final day of fall semester, Lee University students have been treated to six weeks of rest and relaxation in preparation for the spring semester, yet the basketball programs remained focused in the heat of conference play.
After another successful year for Chris Hennessey and the Lady Flames, they have earned a trip to the NCAA National Tournament, the program’s seventh National Tournament appearance since joining the Division-II ranks.
Early this season, the Lee’s men’s soccer program jumped out to their best start in the Derek Potteiger era. The Flames have put it all together, finding success on the pitch and gaining national recognition.
After a tense battle didn’t go their way in Huntsville on Friday, Lee’s men’s basketball team could have sulked. They could have packed it in and complained about the loss. But that’s not who they are.
