At the city council meeting on Feb. 13, Joe Fivas, city manager for Cleveland, announced Project Green Arrow has completed the pilot program and was moving into Phase One. This project, which is designed to give added security to the Greenway by adding cameras, has been in the works since the Homelessness Action Memo was presented to the City Council in late 2022.

After over 50 years, Lee’s campus welcomed a community wide Prayer Vigil led by students and faculty. On Monday Feb. 13, students from Dr. Kevin Nordby’s Post Modernism class entered the Stone Chapel during their class time to join together in prayer. For the next 126 hours, students, faculty and staff, and community members gathered together in prayer, worship, and testimonies of faith.
Dr. Rice Broocks, author of “God’s Not Dead”, and Dr. Ming Wang, founding director of Wang Vision Institute who’s story was featured in “God’s Not Dead,” visited Lee’s campus on Tuesday, March 21, in the Conn Center. The session included a step-by-step presentation of evidence of God’s existence as well as a Q&A session for students to interact with Broocks and Wang.
Since 2001, Lee University has partnered with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to host a Great Strides walk event as well as the 65 Roses 5k. The event will be returning for its 22nd year this Saturday, March 25, throughout Lee University’s campus.
Over the past several months, the city of Cleveland has been discussing a new renovation project for Tinsley Park. A part of those renovations are new Pickleball courts, which would enable the city of Cleveland to begin hosting tournaments.
