Three things for February 20
1. George Zimmerman sues Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg
George Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the 2012 murder of Trayvon Martin, filed a lawsuit Wednesday afternoon against Democratic presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.
Zimmerman is seeking $265 million in damages for various tweets he claims are defamatory.
The suit cites separate tweets on Feb. 5 – Marin’s birthday – when Buttigieg and Warren mentioned the highly publicized incident. In the lawsuit, it says the two candidates took to social media “for political gain in misguided and malicious attempts to bolster their standings amongst African-American voters, all at Zimmerman’s expense.”
According to USA Today, Zimmerman is being represented by Larry Klayman of the conservative Washington organization Freedom Watch.

3. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to end royal duties March 31
Buckingham Palace released a statement on Wednesday morning reporting transitions for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will officially take effect on March 31.
This news comes just a month after the pair announced they intend to step back as senior members of the Royal family.
Not long after the announcement, Queen Elizabeth released a statement citing her decision to strip the couple of their senior royal titles as they split time between the U.K. and Canada.
