1. Andrew Yang drops out of presidential race
On Tuesday night, entrepreneur Andrew Yang announced he would be dropping out of the 2020 presidential race.
Yang addressed supporters in New Hampshire about the end of his campaign, saying, “I’m a numbers guy, and it’s clear from the numbers that we’re not going to win this campaign.”
Yang’s campaign ran for two years, and as of now, he has not decided whether he will endorse another candidate in the future.
2. “Nanny McPhee” Actor Raphael Coleman dies at 25
Raphael Coleman, best known for his role as Eric Brown in “Nanny McPhee,” has died at the age of 25.
The death was confirmed by Coleman’s mother Liz Jennings and stepfather Carsten Jensen across various social media platforms. In his Facebook tribute, Jensen stated, “He collapsed without prior health problems in the middle of a trip and could not be restored.”
In his later years, Coleman earned a zoology degree and became an environmental activist. He served as a member of the group Extinction Rebellion.
In addition to “Nanny McPhee,” Coleman’s acting credits include “It’s Alive” and “The Fourth Kind.”
3. Americans evacuated from Wuhan released from quarantine
After 14 days of being in official quarantine, the first 195 Americans who were evacuated from Wuhan, China, last month were finally released from the March Air Reserve Base in Southern California.
According to health officials, everyone in the group was “medically cleared” on Tuesday, meaning all members from this group were allowed to go back to their lives.
Other Americans that were evacuated from Wuhan are still completing their quarantines in military bases in California, Texas and Nebraska.
