1. Flavored e-cigarettes banned in New York

Over the past few weeks, news has arisen about illnesses and deaths related to vaping and e-cigarettes. The Trump Administration announced that they were attempting to ban vaping products earlier this week, with Governor Andrew Cuomo following suit. He announced in a press release on Sunday “an emergency executive action to ban the sale of flavored electronic cigarettes in New York State.”

2. String Theory Open Rehearsal 

String Theory, a chamber music series founded by Gloria Chien, is coming to Lee University for an open rehearsal on Monday, September 16th in Pangle Hall.

The concert is set to take place at the Hunter Museum in Chattanooga on Tuesday, September 17th. According to their website, the goal of The goal of String Theory is “to expose new audiences to chamber music, invigorating the local classical music scene and cultivating a future generation of music lovers.”


3. Passion Music at First Baptist Cleveland

This Wednesday, September 18th, First Baptist Cleveland will host Passion Music as they come to Cleveland for their “Road to Passion 2020” tour. The band is having pop up worship nights throughout cities in prominent college towns in the United States, in an effort to worship with the community and build up excitement for Passion 2020.
