Photo Essay: 82-year-old plane visits Cleveland

Clear skies and calm winds surrounded the Cleveland Regional Jetport on Saturday morning as local residents toured the Flagship Detroit. Manufactured in 1937, this vintage Douglas DC-3 aircraft flaunts its twin turboprop engines and tight 21-passenger seating.

The Flagship Detroit Foundation, which began refurbishing the plane in 2004, regularly brings its mobile museum to air shows and aviation events throughout the United States.
