Service hour period extended
Due to recent network issues at Lee University, the Leonard Center has extended the deadline to submit service hours. Students now have until April 8 to submit their hours.
The Leonard Center would prefer that service hours be submitted through their Moodle Page. However, forms are always available at their office. Additionally, students can also submit their reflection essays to the Leonard Center using the written reflection form.
All full-time undergraduate students at Lee are required to have a set number of service hours, which vary depending on their class status.
Typically, a student attending Lee for four years must have 80 hours of service by graduation.
Students who transferred to the university with an associates degree are only required to complete 40 hours or ten hours for every semester they are here. In such cases, the Records Office will indicate different service hour requirements.
Students are not required to complete ten hours per semester, but they are highly encouraged to do so by the Leonard Center. For every semester a student is enrolled as a full-time undergrad ten hours of service are required.
For example, if a student graduates in seven semesters, they are required to have 70 hours of service rather than 80.
