Lee University will be postponing Monday’s events planned for Martin Luther King Jr. Day due to weather concerns. The events will be postponed to February in order to coincide with Black History month. Classes were previously canceled so students and faculty could participate in the MLK Jr. Day events.
University offices are also closed, according to an email sent to students from Brian Conn, the university’s director of communication.
Preview Day is still happening, a modified schedule will be sent out to all involved.
A hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service indicates snow is expected overnight Sunday, continuing through Monday.
