Lee University to bring back Celebration

Lee University to bring back Celebration

Special guests, a 300-person choir, a human wall. On Friday, September 20 the morning will be jubilant as Lee University hosts Celebration.

Celebration was an event celebrated regularly when Conn was previously in office, dating back to 1988. The last Celebration was held in 2018 to celebrate the Centennial anniversary of the founding of Lee University.

On Friday, instead of  morning classes, students should attend one of nine seminars across campus. These seminars will be at 9:00 a.m. At the seminar, students will receive a card to turn in to their instructors for morning class attendance credit. Classes will resume at 12:20 p.m.

After the seminars, students will be able to head down to the Conn Center at 10:00 a.m. for a special ceremony and to see the 300-person choir.

At 10:30 a.m., students are asked to help line up for a Human Wall starting across the street from the Conn Center for a parade of special guests.

Free food will be provided after all of the events.
