Cleveland Utilities, Lee Athletics Announce Expanded Partnership
Lee University Athletics and Cleveland Utilities are pleased to announce an expanded corporate partnership agreement for the 2024-25 season.
Cleveland Utilities signed a two-year expanded partnership with the Flames. They will now serve as the official sponsor of the Lee Flames Sports Network on the streaming partner of Lee Athletics, FloCollege.

Our state-of-the-art fiber internet enhances both educational and athletic experiences at Lee University, providing students, faculty, and athletes with the resources they need to succeed. Together, we’re fostering growth, supporting talent, and building a brighter future for the community we both love and serve.
Cleveland Utilities will continue to power home runs hit at Larry Carpenter Stadium and Butler Field for the Flames baseball and softball programs respectively.

In March of 1976, the Board of Mayor and Commissioners, after years of research, directed the Cleveland Water System and Cleveland Electric System to merge operations. The new organization adopted the name of Cleveland Utilities.
In a historical development on April 10, 2023, the Cleveland City Council passed resolutions that marked a new chapter for Cleveland Utilities. The resolutions authorized Cleveland Utilities to enter the broadband business and form an Energy Authority.
Cleveland Utilities continues to evolve, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and excellence in service delivery, always with the community's best interests at heart. It now serves approximately 34,100 electric customers, 34,600 water customers, and 21,200 sewer customers.
