Lewis-Perkins Earns GSC Golfer of the Week Honors
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Lee University golfers Oliver Lewis-Perkins was named Gulf South Conference golfer of the week for his record setting performance in the Copperhead Championship this week.
Lewis-Perkins won the individual title at the Copperhead Championship shooting a school record 202 (67-69-66) over the three rounds. He started the tournament with a 67 and then followed it up with a 69 in round two and a 66 in round three. Lewis-Perkins won the tournament by seven strokes. He helped lead the Flames to a team win in the Copperhead Championship as well.
Srichantamit Earns Gulf South Conference Golfer of the Week
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Supuschaya "Yui" Srichantamit was named Gulf South Conference golfer of the week for her performance at the Nemacolin Intercolliegiate as announced by the conference on Thursday.
Srinchantamit led the Lady Flames to a 5th place finish in the Nemacolin Intercollegiate. She came in seventh shooting a 224 (77-78-69). The 69 in the final round was the second lowest round of any golfer in the tournament. The field included nine teams, seven of which were nationally ranked or receiving votes. Those teams included No.1 Dallas Baptist, host and No. 5 Findlay, No. 6 Henderson St., No. 8 Indianapolis, No. 11 Lee, No. 24 Missouri St. Louis, and RV North Georgia.
