BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-After securing her first career hat trick, Ameyla Jacobs was named Gulf South Conference women's soccer freshman of the week as announced by the league last week.
Jacobs not only scored her first goal against Shorter, but had her first hat trick in the win. Coming off the bench, in her 56 minutes of playing time, she had three goals and an assist on eight shots with five of those on target.
