On Friday, Congressman Beto O’ Rourke announced that he would be leaving the 2020 presidential race. Although his run for presidency only lasted a few months, O’ Rourke explained the “fight to defeat President Donald Trump,” is not over, according to AP News.
2. Southern California Wildfire Diminishes
The Maria Fire in Southern California continues to diminish as firefighters work quickly and effectively. According to AP News, “firefighters contained 30% of the Maria Fire,” allowing for residents to return to their home.
3. Advanced Class Selection Opens Tuesday
Seniors will be eligible to register for next semester’s classes beginning at midnight on Tuesday morning if they have completed an advisor evaluation. Those who have not will have access to class selection on Wednesday.
Students must have also completed 90 credit hours to be considered a senior, with selection opening for other classes throughout the rest of the week.
