The news is out: Dr. Conn is on sabbatical this semester. Most would agree that the president deserves some time for refreshing and growth, but don’t worry, Lee. He’ll be back, and for the time being, he’s left us in good hands.

MRSA: Getting under your skin

Staphylococcus, commonly known as “Staph” has been a recognized pathogenic bacteria for many years. It is a common bacteria found on the skin, in the mouth and nose. When it invades these tissues it frequently causes an abscess which is a collection of pus.
