Much needed makeover comes to DeVos Recreation Center

The DeVos Recreation Center is the latest building to undergo multiple transitions within its walls. Students and faculty will now notice brand new workout machines to the weight room as well as circuit bikes where the game room formally was located. Anyone needing a racquetball will now have to pay $1 if none are available for loan.

Intramur-All Nighter kicks off new semester

The spring 2011 intramural season started with an Intramur-All nighter on Friday, Jan. 14. The event was co-hosted by the campus recreation department and the Student Leadership Council. The event featured six tournaments, as well as free food.

Lady Flames fall short against No. 1 Union

Lady Flames basketball fell short of No. 1 Union College (Tenn.) down the stretch on Monday night as the girls were battled by the size of the Lady Bulldogs two six-foot-four centers. Union won the game 73-66. The loss was the first on the year for the Lady Flames.
