Phi Mu Alpha’s second annual Songwriter’s Showcase promises to feature some of Lee’s hidden talent. This occasion provides budding young songwriters with the chance to share their musical abilities with the student body. Event coordinator and Phi Mu Alpha member Chris Oglesby notes that Lee has great musicians waiting to be discovered.
In an effort to raise money for cystic fibrosis, Lee University will host the sixth annual 65 Roses 5K Road Race in combination with the Great Strides walk on April 12. The course is set to begin at Lee and travels through Main Street in downtown Cleveland and the Ocoee Historic District before ending up back on campus.
The 10-week seminar uses the material of financial expert Dave Ramsey and is aimed at giving young adults Ramsey’s signature “total money makeover.” The goal of Financial Peace University is to help participants make smart financial decisions, become better money managers and gain financial freedom.
